NHKオンデマンドの苦戦に思う: ある広告人の告白（あるいは愚痴かもね）
日本人は「物やサービスにいくら支払うかを原価ベースで決める」とよく言われてて、まあそれって日本人に限ったことじゃないのかもしれないけど、日本人が「それに金を払ったことによって自分がどれだけの効用を得られるか」的な思考をなかなかしないってのは確かだと思う。
少しの努力で無料になったとしても、その努力分を例えば時給換算したときに、努力する合理性があるのか。普段時給1500円で働いてる人が20分努力するなら500円払うのと等価だと思うのだけど、そういう発想って無いよね。努力が美徳だって文化的背景もあるのかもしらん。
